April 20, 1997: This 1973 Chevrolet Nova was a plain jane. It had a 250 with a 3speed and a rough body two years ago. After a complete paint job and a lot of TLC, it has come around. I'm presently putting a 396 together for it and hope to have it up and running soon.
I bought the car to 2 years ago a spent the first year working on the body. The front fenders were replaced with used ones from New Mexico. The rear quarter panels were replaced with new sheet metal. A few other small body items were fixed. Then came the primer. Last year it got a new coat of paint, competition blue. I have BF Goodrich TA's on Crager SS rims. This year, the 250/6 will be deep sixed and replaced with a 396/350hp backed by 350 turbo. Next year will be the rear end and suspension.
